Mon Jan 30, 2023 Ages 5-10 – Rainforest Craft & Create is a day to experiment with ideas and art inspired by the animals, plants, and climate of the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, western and central Africa.

Explore in a safe and supportive environment.  Share creative ideas, find friends and collaborate on movement inventions.  Technique class in jazz, modern or hip hop are among the possibilities. We’ll craft movement, manipulate props, experiment with dance styles and create an art project.  Parents and caregivers may attend the day-in-review at 3:45.

CAMP SCHEDULE:

* Core Camp Hours: 10 am –4 pm
10:00 – 11:00am 1st Class (Movement Warm-Up)
11:00 – 11:20am SNACK BREAK*
11:25 – 12:15am 2nd Class (Performance technique)
12:20 – 1:00pm 3rd Class (Visual art)
1:00 – 1:30pm LUNCH*
1:30 – 2:15pm Outdoor play/theatre or movement games/art
2:15 – 3:45pm Dance technique
3:45 – 4:00pm Review of the day

* Please bring a lunch, snacks, water bottle and a small blanket or mat to sit on (please arrive wearing a mask)
