Marina Cridge is a dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist from Indianapolis, IN. She started her artistic journey as a competitive rhythmic gymnast, where she reached level 10 status. Through her training as a gymnast, dance became an important part of her identity. At Indiana University, Marina became the Contemporary Dance Director for the Inmotion Dance Company, a student-led organization. She graduated from The Indiana University with a B. A. in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and a minor in Dance.
Currently, Marina is a teaching and performing artist in the DMV. She dances and has choreographed with the LMP Collective of Alexandria, VA and pursues freelance projects. Marina teaches creative dance for all learners, family dance, ballet, and rhythmic gymnastics. She has led dance, music, and movement enrichment programs in various DC Public Schools and schools throughout Northern Virginia. Most recently, Marina led a Family Dance Workshop at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History with Local Motion Project and performed with Liberation Dance Project in their debut performance at Dance Canvas DMV.
