As resident of DC, Supriya is interested in contributing to the community in the DMV area. Dance has been a part of her life – from learning and performing Indian classical and folk dances in India to learning ballroom and Latin street dancing when she moved to US. She hopes to bring this love for dance to JFD.  She is an avid cook who believes recipes are just guidelines and you add your flair to every dish to make it your own. When she is not dancing or enjoying her other hobbies, she is working for the federal government. She graduated with a PhD in Disability studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked as a physical therapist a few years ago.
